dax rush FOR SALE
This Dax Rush truly is stunning and a real joy to drive, but unfortunately I just don't get the time to enjoy her.
The Rush has been featured in Kit Car Magazine July 2006 Edition and has been shown at a number of Car Shows.
The Rush has never been on a track and is best suited to someone who wants a good looking sportscar to drive on a nice Summer day to a car meet or show.
I have a file of invoices for the car, of which approximately £6K are for the Essex V6 Engine parts and machining costs alone, excluding building labour. Approx total build cost close to £30k.
Approx 1,600 Dry miles only, never driven in the wet.

- A one off hand built & tuned Ford 'Essex' V6 engine, bored to 3,162cc.
- Holley Performance Carburetor with Triangle Stainless Steel filter housing.
- Dark (Oxford) blue body, with cream & dark blue interior. Hand made cream & dark blue high back sports seats with full safety harness.
- Chrome metalwork to the screen, mirrors, roll bar, interior dials, and many other parts.
- Bespoke stainless steel exhausts, mounted each side of car.
- Stainless steel suspension components.
- Stainless steel clad engine bay complete with stainless steel and copper fittings and dark blue piping.
- 17" Image split rim wheels with low profile tyres.
- Full SVA certified on 30 Aug 2005.
- Taxed until the summer.
- Will be sold with a full 12 months MOT.
- Private Plate M12 DAX (MR DAX) Excluded from the price, can be included at additional cost if wanted.

dax rush review
To say this purchase of Dave's took me by surprise is a bit of an understatement.
To me Dave is carefull, sensible about where his money goes. A purchase would require forward thinking and any car would have to meet a daily use practicality. Or at least that is how it was for the BMW M Coupe. This car doesn't do sensible, this purchase came from the his darker side. The Devil within completing the transaction before his sensible side knew what was going on.
Dax are well know for their quality kit cars and this is no exception. Built by 2 brothers to an impresive individual specification this beast boasts a tuned and bored to 3.2 litre Ford V6 with bespoke manifold and exhaust system. The ride and handling is superb, so much so you find your speedo reads a higher value than you feel you've reached.
Finished with plenty of bright work and a contrasting dark blue it is a striking machine. Inside the high quality continues with comfy buckets covered in blue and cream leather.
Its a pity this summer has been so poor, as it has hardly been used this year and with all the exposed brightwork it would require a lot of cleaning if it was out in the wet.
There is a lot of documentation with this car including a magazine spread. As soon as I can get my hands on that, I will have a lot more data to print. But for now, enjoy the photos.
